me: today…
looking at the work of others has been too overwhelming…so i paused and decided that the message that the universe is sending me is to is to look within and move from my own truth

it don’t matter how many people do things similar to what i do, i still have a gift, a call to answer
somebody is waiting to hear that same message the way i say [it], cause there is nothing new under the sun
but there are people, lots of people waiting for us to be who we are and say things the way we do, cause they can’t hear it or feel it any other way

yes, yes…that’s often something i struggle with, but i have also had the realization that no one’s done it MY way yet.
this can stand in the way of so many folks…glad to see this debunking of the “it’s been done…” theory!
i think that human beings and creative people ESPECIALLY wrestle with this quite a bit. i think that it’s often a major source of procrastination as well as a reason that we suppress some of our most wonderful parts.
